Emily Isted managed the sale of my property. I really appreciated her agreeing to a half- hour telephone call to run through issues raised by the vendor/solicitors. This was done on a Friday, when I am sure she was busy on completions. However, it saved so much time in the long run and ensured all aspects were covered ready for exchange of contracts. Personally called me when monies received on completion which was reassuring as I had left the property vacant and ready for purchaser.

I instructed Stephen Carew on the conveyancing for my house purchase. The matter became complicated and stressful we were entered into a contract race, which required everything to be done at breakneck speed, with no certainty of outcome. Stephen provided excellent advice and service throughout, whilst all the while remaining cool, calm and collected. Stephen worked tirelessly over the course of the week up to exchange, continuously liaising throughout each day to keep me informed of the progress. As a result we were ready for exchange within 4 days of being informed we were in a contract race (before the sellers themselves were ready!). We exchanged after the weekend and completed a week later. Despite prioritising this instruction, Stephen did not charge any additional fees on top of his original estimate. My family and I have instructed Stephen on a few occasions now. Every time, he delivers a first class, professional service, excellent practical advice, all at very reasonable rates. I have no hesitation recommending him and Meadows Ryan.

Outside of my mortgage I had never used a solicitor before and that correspondence was impersonal and by email only. So i was nervous about finding and using a solicitor. I needed a solicitor to get a deed done within what I though would have been an almost impossible time constraint before Covid19. I found WM&K after a local search, called them and asked if it was at all possible to get what i needed done during the lockdown (myself convinced it was impossible) They immediately alleviated my nervousness about using a solicitor due to their professionalism and courtesy while talking to them. They were also candid and said it may not be possible but would get back to me. To my joy and more importantly my family's future security they said it could be done. Their correspondence was superb throughout the whole process and the cost was under what I had expected, especially due to the speed needed to get it done. Also there were no hidden costs once receiving the bill and it matched their estimate. I would have no hesitation in recommending them or using Woolsey Morris & Kennedy Solicitors again.
