Prosecution Defense covers the work of defending people charged with crimes. A criminal defence solicitor represents the accused, prepares statements and alibis, reviews disclosure, negotiates with the Crown Prosecution Service, applies for bail, and represents the client at hearings, plea negotiations, trials, and appeals in magistrates' courts and the Crown Court. They advise on evidence, procedures, and possible outcomes throughout the criminal process.
