I am compelled to express my serious concerns regarding the conduct of my former lawyer. I was advised to plead guilty to a crime I did not commit—an action that has had devastating consequences on my life. I was arrested for Fraud on the 1st of November 2023 and taken to Luton Police Station. I was so stressed, worried and went blank. I couldn't think nor reflect. All I could recall was trying to plead guilty until I was advised to seek legal representation. I almost said No, but later said yes, glad I did. I was introduced to Rex who therapeutically calmed me down before asking me what happened. Rex legal approach with me was overly re-assuring and educative. He made me reflect and rethink my case. After a thorough case review, he made me see reason to plead Not Guilty. My case lingered for 18months. Rex supported me all through the 18 months.
