Flying freeholds arise when part of a dwelling sits over a neighbour’s property or airspace, creating unusual title and boundary questions. A solicitor in this area investigates how the flying freehold affects ownership, rights of support, access, and liability for maintenance, and checks for restrictive covenants or lease clauses that could impact use, sale or refinancing. They draft and negotiate documents to clarify who is responsible for repairs, servitudes and stubs of title, and advise on how to handle mortgage requirements and disputes with neighbouring occupiers.

Sue O'Hara

Tagged solicitor Sue O'Hara

We had Sue as our contact. Very professional and good communication despite a challenging chain. Pity other solicitors in chain were not up to Sue’s standard.

Shilpav Patel acted on my behalf for my Sale & Purchase and once again he didn't let me down. Always available to me to answer any of my questions and reassure me. I have no hesitation in recommending Shilpav and his Secretary Janet, absolute Stars both of them. Thank you.

Lauren Clay

Tagged solicitor Lauren Clay

After a negative experience with another local solicitors we didn't hold out much hope for anything better. Lauren and her team worked hard to get us to complete on time, taking constant phonecalls and emails from us. Pushing and rooting for us. Finally the experience we wanted from solicitors! Thank you
