I am a serving Corporal within the British Army, and I am being charged with 2 offences within Service Law, that were not my fault, and of which, there are many mitigating factors contributing to the case. The charges carry punishments of docking of up to 7 leave days, and a fine of up to 28 days pay. I got in touch with Stephanie Grieve for some Legal advice. I had seen on social media of the work she has done to aid Military Personnel in the Civil courts. As both a Civil Lawyer, and an Officer in the Royal Military Police, and therefor is experienced with Service Law, all I can say is she was outstanding. She listened to me as I recounted the event and read the statements, and gave me some solid legal advice, and reassurance that I had done the right thing, and should definitely contest the charges. She got me in contact with a great Court Martial lawyer, and I am proceeding with them. Her communication with me has been faultless throughout. At present, I am still waiting for the dates for my Court Martial, however I am extremely confident of a win, and importantly the charges being dropped before it even hits the Court Martial, due to the advice that Stephanie has given me. My military lawyer has confirmed exactly what Steph has advised me, and we are proceeding on that front. A solid 10/10, I cannot fault her, and will recommend Steph to any Service Personnel looking for advice.
