Law firms ranked by client reviews
This area covers entitlement to state support such as Universal Credit, Employment and Support Allowance, Personal Independence Payment, Attendance Allowance, Housing Benefit, Pension Credit and council tax reduction, plus disputes about sanctions, overpayments and benefit removal. Solicitors draft and submit benefit claims and mandatory reconsideration requests, obtain and organise medical and occupational evidence, liaise with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and represent clients at the First‑tier Tribunal (Social Entitlement Chamber) and on further appeal. Work is shaped by the DWP decision‑making process, statutory entitlement tests and tribunal case law.
