As this was the first time I’d been an executor I wasn’t ready for what it entailed. Paperback and forms kept on being sent to me with questions I’d have no idea what the answer was. On speaking to the solicitor regarding that I’d never lived at the property so most of the. Questions I couldn’t answer. He advised me to fill in the questions that I could and he’d explain to the buyers solicitors my concerns. After a long winded period we finally got there with him passing on my concerns. Any time I needed some help or advise he was only too happy to help. When I finally meet him he understood what I’d gone through and that it’s not as straight forward as it seems.would recommend.

My father was a lawyer, and i am aware of what makes a great lawyer. My family got extremely lucky when we recently hired Nelsons to handle our aunt's estate. Especially since Nadia Faki has been the lawyer we have had the great fortune of dealing with. She has been very professional, does everything when and how she said she will do it....and quite frankly, she made handling the estate a very easy procedure, which is saying something, considering we all live in a different country. Ian Cranefield of Richard Nelson LLP was an excellent, professional, solicitor. Ian advised, helped and supported me through a 7 year legal battle that commenced in the Court of Protection, progressing to a High Court Claim and Mediation with a positive result. He kept me calm in difficult and depressing situations, with his expertise, knowledge and empathy. During this legal claim Probate and Administration of a will progressed with the assistance initially of Martin Cruddas, then Kerry Wiig (formerly of Richard Nelson LLP) then Scott Walker of Richard Nelson LLP who finalised administration.
