A simple will covers how someone’s assets are arranged to be passed on after death, typically with a straightforward set of gifts and a single or a couple of executors. A solicitor drafts and amends the document, checks that it clearly expresses the testator’s wishes, and ensures formal validity, including proper signing and witnessing. They review who should benefit, appoint guardians for any minor children, and consider basic tax and debt issues so the will operates smoothly when probate is sought.

“Highly Recommend, Excellent Service – I contacted the West Kirby branch after a recommendation to speak to Andrea Ashton regarding writing/rewriting wills. My initial contact was with Lisa, who explained the whole process concisely. Andrea and Lisa dealt with all our queries in an efficient, competent, friendly, and professional manner, we were provided with helpful information, advice and guidance relating to our situation throughout. I have, no hesitation in recommending Andrea and her team to anyone looking to write/rewrite their wills and related documents.”
