A simple will covers how someone’s assets are arranged to be passed on after death, typically with a straightforward set of gifts and a single or a couple of executors. A solicitor drafts and amends the document, checks that it clearly expresses the testator’s wishes, and ensures formal validity, including proper signing and witnessing. They review who should benefit, appoint guardians for any minor children, and consider basic tax and debt issues so the will operates smoothly when probate is sought.

“I had a fantastic experience with my will writing from help with preparation to the finished and signed documents. I chose Sue, and she was absolutely brilliant. She explained everything clearly, never made me feel rushed, and made what could have been a daunting process feel straightforward and reassuring. It was great to be in the hands of a professional that also understands my charity wishes and donations. Jane was also wonderful—professional, friendly, and an excellent communicator throughout. She was very accommodating and patient allowing me to book an appointment at a time that suited me. The whole process was completed quickly and efficiently, and I really appreciated that secure storage of my will was included for added peace of mind. Thank you to the whole team for such outstanding service,  I genuinely felt valued and respected every step of the way.  I would 100% use them again in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for will writing or any legal services.”
