Got the job done, but not the clearest communication and some unnecessary issues in what should have been an easy house purchase process.
We used Brar&Co to do our Right to Acquire on our home. The staff were great throughout, giving us recommendations and keeping us informed on the process and how things were going. Hannah and Vicky were great when needing advise. We felt at ease as no question was a stupid question. The staff at Brar&Co have all been friendly and very professional when we have called the offices and everyone we have spoken to have strived to get us the answers to our queries. We would just like to thank all the staff for helping us not to be stressed in what is normally the most stressful time of our lives.

Excellent service, nothing was too much trouble for our solicitor, Viki. All our questions and concerns were answered immediately leaving us feeling reassured throughout our dealings. Would highly recommend
Oskar of Brar &co Ltd Solicitors. Chillingham Road Newcastle is an absolute waste of time and money. the vacant looking Oskar K.H. Juzaszek In very rare and weak communication will tell you what he proposes to do then asks if you have any questions. When you reply with questions the Charlatan charges to read the reply and classes that as “substantive “ work at a usual rate of near £1000 Over 2 years and more than £2000 paid and I am still no further forward. Brar dnd co are well known and respected in this Newcastle area but Oskar K.H. Juzaszek is s Lazy charlatan dragging the company down. Mr Brar would do well to manage him more closely Possibly manage him out of the company before he ruins their reputation beyond repair. If you ever get to meet Oskar. The blank look on his face will tell you all you need to know. He might be ok at resolving business disputes or immigration disputes but for marital disputes he is a joke. Never in touch. Never any updates unless it’s a new invoice for more payments. Caused me nothing but delays and anxiety and almost bankrupted me. Avoid him. Now wants another £1000 client fee to cover his disbursements should he ever actually do something. Worst person I’ve ever had the misfortune to be involved with. 2 years and zero progress. No option but to report to Law society.
Unfortunately I was unable to use Brar & Co. for my eventual successful purchase due to a conflict of interest (my sellers were using them). However, Mr Saleem Afsar was brilliant helping me navigate a very complex conveyancing matter. Despite me eventually withdrawing my offer and pulling out, Saleem had my best interests in mind at all times and helped me reach the right decision. Vivienne was also extremely helpful and courteous too when I called on numerous occasions. She was always happy to help! Thank you!
