They harass you daily for medical records and bank details then after a year or so ask you for more info then state they fight it in court but have to prove you could not afford the hire car. I could afford the hire but through my insurance it was free the accident wasn't my fault. The other driver addmitted fault, therefore I shouldnt be liable for costs. Avoid this company and go through your insurance company!

Avoid this company

Winns were appointed by our insurer and constantly failed to provide a service other than to benefit themselves. The communciation si woeful and the staff cannot answer simpel questions and usually avoid them. I ahve amde a complaint to the company and tehy eeven responded with a false statement to prove their incompetence.
only interested in profiteeringa dn not the customer. Abuse of a priviledged position to claim what tehy want.

Literally the worst solicitors in the UK

I was rear ended by a driver who accepted full liability for the accident immediately. I contacted my insurers who advised that I would be dealing with their solicitors - Winns. I was also contacted by the insurers for the person who drove in to me, offering to arrange the costs of disposal of my vehicle and a replacement vehicle for a month - we live on a remote farm and have no other cars or form of transport. After being categorically told by Winns not to deal with anyone but themselves, I have had a nightmare for over 18 months now with them hounding me for the costs of the replacement vehicle ( a sum of over £5000). They have prepared entirely inaccurate witness statements on my behalf which I refuse to sign at which point they disappear for months only for a brand new person from Winns to contact me, again asking for access to my bank accounts and with yet another witness statement full of blatant untruths. I have now complained to the ombudsman and can only hope that someone, somewhere does what is necessary to stop these people. No-one needs the huge stress and hassle they have caused which feels especially unfair given that the accident was not my fault, the other driver immediately accepted full liability and I had all the necessary insurance.

Awful company

Avoid at all costs unless you want to welcome an abundance of stress and bullying tactics!
My son who has special needs was a passenger in a non fault accident and suffered injuries. As the driver was using Winn to claim they got the details for my son also. Thinking they were a reputable company I agreed to make a claim on his behalf as he is a minor and it’s been nothing but stress ever since. As my son has special needs going to appointments and explaining things is difficult and the case handler has shown about as much empathy as .
The other side have made an offer which is totally acceptable to us however Winn are now forcing a court case saying we have no power to accept the offer made because they think it’s not enough (I can only assume so that they can make more profit) I have been told if I don’t make my son go to court they will charge me £2400 which is a bullying tactic that frankly disgusts me. So now I have the choice of traumatising my son or being liable for their costs. I would strongly warn against using this company.

Dire communication

Absolutely uselass communication is dire pressure to put a personal injury claim in 5k to fix a rear bumper and light tried to take the courtesy car off me 2 days before my car was ready and then expected me to make my own way 20+ miles to pick my car up! AVOID at all costs (make sure when you report your accident that you are speaking to your INSURANCE as these somehow are infiltrating the phone calls!!!!!!

Horrendous company

The basic things take months to complete and that is only because I am constantly ringing. My claim was sat nowhere for months because they were unsure of what department it should lie with, I mean how does a solicitor not know this? Each time you speak to a different Advisor and each time the information is different. You think you getting somewhere to find out you are 10 steps back! To far in the claim now to change, I have looked into this.
I have raised a complaint for the stress and procedure, they think offering £75 is reasonable. I do not know what they charge 25% fee for as the client does most of the work!
Please read reviews and take note, you will put yourself through huge stress otherwise.
I had to hide my number to contact them as if you have a case with them you can’t call as it directs you to the website and hangs up.

Car accident

Put it on the review, they have already gotten my Older GP report until my GP recommended I had the ultra sound …upon which…I have sent the outcome of the results to them from NSH -RVI …reports indicating I have had a tear on my shoulder, hence the pain. This new results were sent to them and all they came back to say was to demand a newer updates from the GP and NHS copy? What’s all this about when they failed to allow me to even have a scan until, I went on to ask my GP due to the pain and sleepless nights I was going through…all to get to the bottom of things!!!
Honestly, I am sick of them and it’s time to give my records to someone else to deal with the case as soon as possible!!!
