Nel as a solicitor was great with fair understanding/knowledge of the family law sector. Easy to get a hold of with very good response times. Would highly suggest not to listen to any 'recommended' barristers put forward, I was suggested the most expensive person on the books (which I used as I wanted the best outcome) the barrister that turned up had never been involved with this type of case.... majorly disappointed and cost me to accept a deal that should have been better.

I cannot speak highly enough of Matthew Wells, during an unrelated consultation he picked up on a family issue that I had considered beyond my control, and advised that I was able to stand up and fight against the situation we were facing. My daughter, during the past few years, has been going through a very complicated divorce procedure. We appointed Grant Stephens Family Law on the recommendation of Lindsay Rock - who trained at university with Grant. During the divorce process we were kept up to date at all times and were guided sympathetically throughout. It was a very stressful process but everybody with whom we dealt was understanding - right through from the Accounts Personnel through to Grant Stephens himself. Our main contact was Nel Roberts who was a joy to deal with - all my queries were answered promptly and her advice was always spot on. The process took over 2 years to complete but, throughout this time, I never felt that I was a nuisance in any way whatsoever (although I probably was at times!)
