I had the misfortune of using Sohale from the acocks green office to give advice and sign a loan agreement. The whole experience was a nightmare from start to finish. He sat on the paperwork, did not reply to any emails, did not call or answer calls. The loan company said he was the worst solicitor they had ever come across and at one point he was lying to them, saying I hadn't sign the agreement. I drove over there out of desperation and he was saying a house sale hadn't gone through that day due to an 'outage' which still didn't explain why he had sat on my paperwork for 2 weeks. What should have taken a week, took longer than a month, all down to Sohale. I would steer clear from this firm.

When I pointed this out, one executor discovered they were never officially appointed, while the other was promised a renunciation form that never arrived. For weeks, the solicitor repeated they were “waiting for executor instructions,” even after I explained one was waiting on the form. Only when I mentioned the Legal Services Board did they reply—saying the same thing again. I suggested they contact the executors by tracked mail, but instead they abruptly closed the file. Seven months later, everything remains unresolved. Truly unprofessional service.

Extremely disappointed with the service. Communication has been consistently poor, emails and calls often go unanswered or unnecessary delay, and when I do get through, the solicitors are frequently unavailable or on leave This lack of responsiveness has meant that the sale has dragged on unnecessarily. What should have been a straightforward process within a reasonable time window, has now been delayed by more than six months, and even now the sale is still not completed. The level of inefficiency and disregard for clients’ time is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering using this firm if they value timely service and professional communication.

I am so surprised reading the reviews We have used this solicitors on Yardley Road for many years, we always see James Norton and he is excellent and always spends time explaining everything, he is always very friendly and makes you feel very relaxed there when sorting things out, he always answers his emails very quickly, Cant speak highly enough of James and want to say a big thank you June and John Walton
