Scam!!
I owed a debt for £1800 which a Debt collections company called CRS passed to AJJB. I was contacted by them and set up a monthly plan via card mandate. The default file waa due to be removes from my credit report, September 2021. In August 2021, another company called ACI wrote to me that they were now the new company overseeing the debt but AJJB will continue collecting the repayment. I then found that this new company had re-registered the default to bwgin August 2021 and will not leave my file until August 2027! I didnt think they were allowed ro do that and increase the statute of limilations on an unsecure loan from 6 to 12 years just like that!. I wrote to AJJB who replied with a simple letter saying it has nothing to do with them. I wrote to CRS who said I should be contactinc AJJB. I wrote to ACI who said it has nothing to do with them and to contact CRS. I then sent the correpondence from the two back to AJJB ans their response was simply 'your balance is now £600, please make sure you fund the account'. I have now closed the account as I cannot cancel the card mandate. Fraud all around. They are only designed to make people remain in debt permanently and to destroy one's credit for life. Especially if you have a foreign sounding name. A big fraudulent scheme and scam
