Butterworths provided an excellent service to my partner and I whilst we were buying our first home. We chose to instruct Butterworths due to their straight forward quote and their rapid response time. We were not disappointed. They provided us with access to an app which allowed us to track where we were in the process and highlighted all of the stages. Gill was our conveyancer and she went above and beyond to get the sale completed before Christmas. If you want an honest firm, with no hidden charges and helpful staff then I can't recommend Butterworths enough.

No fuss or drama

I thought the whole thing was great - I can't believe how smoothly it went. I kept waiting for delays or complications, but none came. Christine was in total control. No fuss, no drama. Problems were all solved quickly.

Buying a house is a stressful time in anyone’s life. But we felt that the way Laura Goode handled our sale was great; we would recommend her to anyone buying a house, and she is a credit to the company. When we decided to sell our house back in September 2021, we had no doubt that we would use Butterworths. As we had heard good reviews about thier work.
We spoke to Emma Whitton on our first call and she arranged a quotation to be sent out to us for both sale and purchase. As this was the first time for us selling and purchasing Emma talked us through the whole process and helped us understand each step within depth.
From September 2021 to the completion date 18th February Emma communicated with us frequently and gave us updates as needed. She made us feel at ease and took alot of the stress away, especially when we had two sales fall through so close to completion. She restored our faith and assured us that it happened often on the housing market.
Overall the experience we had with Butterworths and of cause Emma we would highly recommend her and the company to anyone selling and or purchasing, and should we ever decide to move again she will be our first port of call. Emma is an asset to the company.
