This has to be the most inefficient law firm in the country, unable to cope with the simplest remortgage. Their inefficiency has cost us thousands. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

These solicitors are the worst I have ever experienced. Trying to do a remortgage on my property is taking 5 months+. Unable to get hold of them, instead just speak to a lady working from home who says she just passes email messages to the relevant people. No-one gets back to you. Even when you make a complaint, someone says they will call you back and then they don't. These solicitors have turned my remortgage into a hugely stressful situation. I would advise anyone to steer clear form using them!

Our experience with Optima Legal during our remortgage has been very frustrating. There is no way to contact them other than through their messaging portal, which often takes days (sometimes weeks) for a response. The portal itself is clunky and unhelpful, and there is no phone presence at all if you need to speak to someone urgently. We’ve also found their attention to detail very poor. Key details and important questions were left until less than a week before completion, putting the whole process at risk unnecessarily. It feels disorganised and reactive rather than proactive, and it leaves customers with no confidence. If you want a smooth, stress-free remortgage process, I’d recommend avoiding Optima Legal.

Avoid Optima Legal – appalling service from start to finish. What should have been a straightforward remortgage has dragged on for over 16 weeks, with no clear justification for the delays. The lack of communication has been absolutely unacceptable. I was repeatedly instructed to use their online portal to leave messages, but these were rarely acknowledged, let alone responded to in any meaningful way. There has been zero initiative from their side to keep me informed or move the process along. I had to constantly chase for updates, only to be met with silence or vague responses. For a legal firm handling sensitive financial matters, this level of disorganisation and disregard for clients is shocking. Optima Legal has caused unnecessary stress and wasted time—I would strongly advise others to steer clear

Took 11 months to complete our remortgage. Ended up going onto variable due to their incompetence. Using wrong forms. Using other customers private information! Ended up costing us thousands
