Cant log into their crusty website and there is simply no way of contacting anyone. Why is a business like this allowed to trade. Barclays who chose them should hang their heads in shame!! It will end up damaging their reputation in the remortgage market. I can't give my name just in case it gets worse!!
This has to be the most inefficient law firm in the country, unable to cope with the simplest remortgage. Their inefficiency has cost us thousands. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Practically impossible to communicate with any staff member. 29 phonecalls over 2 days. No responses. Complaint logged- no response. Promised calls back- no response Complaint logged on 4 occasions- no response delay in completion
Optima Legal have taken over a month to process a simple remortgage application. Not only is it impossible to speak to the solicitors on the phone (owing to a byzantine automated telephone system), they made serious and costly errors. For instance, someone misread our Buildings Insurance Schedule, confusing £19,000 or the premium with £19,000,000 and then claiming it did not cover a small mortgage, further delaying completion. This is one of many such irritations and impediments along the way. A useless, frustrating company that will stall and cost you time and money. Avoid at all costs.
If your bank is forcing you to use that incompetent company, run away! I'm not gonna say anything new then other people already said. 1 star reviews is way to much! Simple proces took them 6 months, coused a lot of stress and money loss. They not responding to emails. I dont know how companies like this can even exist. AVOID that company as they have nothing common with profesionalsm.
