Daniel Sugare and all the staff at Sugare and Co were amazing in family law proceedings resolving custody issues and most importantly getting my children home. They also sorted the financial court hearings and were just all round fantastic. My children, my parents and I had a traumatic few years which ended when we found Daniel and his barrister, Andrew Nixon. Fantastic friendly supportive lawyers who I can only recommend highly.

We would firstly like to say a big thank you to Matthew and all the help and support he has given us. We was recommended through a family friend who also has nothing but good things to say and we can say the same. We have had a long winded and even complicated at times divorce,but this did not effect the outcome of the end result. My decision to engage Megan Purcell in respect of an occupancy order has been one of my best decisions. Sugaré & Co were recommended to me by a friend who had been on the other side of the table in a legal matter, and told me how impressed they had been with Sugaré & Co. The recommendation has proved to be a good one. From our first conversation, Megan was reassuring, she demonstrated she was experienced and expert in the subject matter, she grasped the issues immediately, provided the right advice, was energised, engaged and accessible throughout and never wavered in her support. I never once doubted that I had made the correct decision to engage her services. Megan was clear about fees, and proactive in helping to manage and minimise these where possible. Overall, good value for money when I consider what was at stake and the outcome. Looking back, I do not believe I could have achieved the successful outcome going it alone, and I shudder to think of the alternative path proceedings might have taken without her expert leadership. I’ve been working closely with Matthew Dobkin at Sugare for over 2.5 years. He very quickly developed an understanding of my case and was able to cut through the noise and focus on what really matters. He also dissected and summarised some complex historical family financial matters that I couldn’t fully grasp, and presented them to the court effectively. He guided me through childcare arrangements with a very difficult and combative ex-partner, which resulted in an excellent outcome, with the magistrates ruling everything in my favour. We took a fair and reasonable approach throughout, and Matthew ensured that I was presented in the best possible way. Spending time with Matthew during these stressful proceedings was also a positive experience due to his calm, personal, and even light-hearted approach to everything outside of the legal work. I’m very happy to recommend him and Sugare to anyone going through a separation.
