I had a vacant property and was selling to a cash buyer - the process from start to finish took almost six months to complete!! Absolutely shocking. Communication was very poor, answering our queries with minimal responses and often not dealing with the actual points we were raising. Some of our emails were missed and not responded to at all. At one point the case portal was not updated for three and a half months and only updated when I pointed this out to them. Does this mean that for that period of time they weren’t working on my case or do they just not bother to adhere to their own internal protocols? Either way it is poor practice. According to one email we received our conveyancer was trying to obtain information from a company that were in no way relevant to our case. It took the company three attempts to get my final account right - I was so confused that I’m still not 100% sure if the last account is actually true! I will never use this company again and will certainly not recommend them to anyone. If Dee and Griffin say (as they appear to do on other poor reviews) they cannot find my case details they should speak to our conveyancer Joanne Boucher.
