I had a very bad experience with delivering my 3rd child with the NHS trust in my local area. There was a lot of things that happened which led to me being left in way which I found very difficult to cope with. I knew that the things that happened that night and how I had been left weren't right but I would never have been able to find out exactly what the failings were. I went to the medical accident group because of how I had been left not knowing if I even had a case. I'm so glad I did because after they took my case on and experts were instructed to do independent reports on what happened and what should have happened. I finally had clarity that it wasn't in my head, the feelings of things not being right were finally revealed to be clear cut negligible care. I would never have be3n able to prove these things on my own, I wouldn't have known where to begin. It was all dealt with for me and every report was sent to me and explained by my solicitor Dominic Weir. There was no point were I felt out of the loop or confused as he or his team (Talitha and Barbara) walked me through everything from beginning to end. They ended up winning my case and I received adequate damages as a result, and I was more than happy to pay the success fees as without them this would have never gotten off the ground. If you are like me and thinking of making a medical negligence claim but are unsure if you even have a case, my advice would be to just give them a call because they will always be honest and won't take on anything just for the money only cases they know that they can fight successfully. I couldn't thank them enough.

I was very pleased that the Medical Action Group agreed to take on my no-win no fee claim back in 2021 as I know how difficult these cases can be to prove negligence despite me being very sure I had a good strong case. All the timescales and likely costs were set-out clearly from the outset. After an initial meeting to discuss my case I was kept fully informed throughout and had several conversations and input with regard to gathering expert witness reports to support my case. Finally, earlier this yea,r I was delighted that the other party admitted liability. Following on from this a proposal to settle was put forward and the case brought to a swift conclusion.
