Suzanne has worked in family law for 25 years, having started out as a Legal Secretary and working her way up to Paralegal roles for various firms across Nottingham and Derby. Suzanne completed her academic studies through distance learning with CILEX and received distinctions in every subject. Suzanne graduated last year as an Advanced Paralegal through CILEX and has a Higher Degree Level Professional Diploma. Suzanne joined Family Law Group as a Paralegal assisting one of our Directors, Amanda Brown, and has gone on to build up her own caseload and is hoping to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive later this year. Family law is something Suzanne has always been very passionate about and she aims to provide support to clients throughout their case. Suzanne is very approachable, patient and understanding and aims to ensure that she achieves the best outcome possible for each and every client. Suzanne is knowledgeable in respect of legal aid and has experience in dealing with both private and legal laid cases.

    Consent order for financial remedy in divorce

    From the first day I met Suzanne Walton she explained exactly what would happen she made me feel at ease straight away. Over the 17months Suzanne always kept me in the loop with everything and advised me throughout whether it be by email or a telephone call. I am so glad I went with this company Suzanne is an asset she will certainly go far. At the final hearing in court Amanda Brown along with Suzanne accompanied me they worked so hard to get a good outcome for me .     I’ve been dealing with the family law group for a couple of years now over access issues with my children. Amanda and Suzanne was my main solicitor however on my final court date was with Mary chilinski and she was more than an adequate step in she was superb, she went into full detail of my situation with Amanda and Suzanne she gathered ample details about my case and who she was dealing with, answered emails out of hours ( to which I didn’t expect her to ) which was amazing because it didn’t leave you dwelling on an answers over night , she was open, honest and straight up front with my situation, to me that’s how I work and I prefer that approach I walked into the court room with nothing and walked out of there with some resemblance of power for myself and my head was held high afterwards fully recommend Mary and the family law group.

    I instructed Family Law Group to help me with the Financial Order as part of my final divorce proceedings. I was assigned Suzanne Walton who was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.
