I have had two very positive experiences with this firm. The first helping my mother execute my late father's will, and the second asking them to draft wills for myself and my husband. In the case of the wills, they worked out more cost effective than a local will writing service, and we had a more professional service and better advice. Steve Gray was also very understanding of my mother's health difficulties, and compassionate in dealing with my father's estate. Highly recommended.

Probate Advice and Conveyancing
Following the death of my father in March I took on the role of executor of his estate which was a daunting task, as I had never done anything like this before. Having done some initial research on-line and having gained a number of quotes. I was surprised at the variations in the costs. We were impressed most by our initial enquiries to Fiona Bruce and were invited by the team to attend a no obligation initial meeting to discuss our options and costs. Here we meet Steve Gray who guided us through the process and the options available to us. The subsequent service from him was first class with clear advice and easy channels of communication. We concluded the receipt of the grant of probate and the sale of our late fathers property within just four months at a competitive rate. Thanks again Steve for making this process easy.

Steve Gray - Highly recommended
I didn’t expect to be someone who would think of themselves as having a family solicitor, but as it is that seems to have happened. My parents many moons ago first dealt with Steve for advice regarding wills and all matters regarding inheritance. As time passed we lost my Dad and Steve continued to support my Mum updating things to her requirements, during this time I and my husband got involved with our own requirements and more recently my son.
When my Mum passed away Steve was an invaluable support, he was patient and kind. He guided us successfully and extremely professionally through the intricacies of probate. I have found him responsive and articulate with all of my queries, explaining patiently where things are rather complex. Not only am I confident our affairs are all in order I find Steve easy & approachable to deal with, I would recommend him highly and really do feel as if we have a family solicitor.

Helpful and professional
During a time of great sadness, there was always a kind and helpful voice, that reassured. Calls were always returned promptly, and were dealt with the in a most professional manner. The reception staff were amazing and were always very kind and considerate, when I had to phone nothing was too much trouble and were a great help during a very stressful time.

Wills and Trusts
My wife and I had our wills drawn up at Fiona Bruce and in doing so amended some documents that related to house and asset ownership ; further we ensured both our children and grand-children were protected with Trusts if these were needed in the event of our early death. These discussions took place over three meetings with Steve Gray and I think every possible future event was fully discussed, clearly explained, and amended if necessary. I cannot fault the service we received and would recommend FB and Steve 100%

Review of Stephen Gray
It was through a personal recommendation that I appointed Stephen Gray as executor of my mother's estate and I am delighted to pass that recommendation on. Stephen worked with great sensitivity at a stressful time for my family,which was helpful and reassuring. He was always prepared to listen to my questions and requests and explained the process simply and carefully. He and his team took the burden of administration and paperwork off the shoulders of the family executors.

Professional and thorough
Steve Gray obtained probate for a family member’s estate. Steve was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and handled everything from start to finish. The fees were very reasonable. Overall we were very happy with the service provided.

Will update
We made our original will with Fiona Bruce Solicitors when we lived in Warrington. We now live in Looe but found it very easy to made the amendments we wanted dealing with them by teams call. Th process was straightforward, everything was explained in terms we could understand and all done very quickly and efficiently. Great customer service is hard to find these days but Fiona Bruce Solicitors still understand what that is and deliver it

First class service
