I am Crewe lad born and bred, and proud to be! I studied English Law with French at university which resulted in me working at the European Parliament for a year as an assistant to the local MEP. I wanted to practice law locally and was fortunate enough to secure a training contract in Crewe. My career then progressed from strength to strength and I am now Senior Partner of HSW and specialise in residential property law. Along the way I met the love of my life, Caroline. We have two beautiful daughters who keep us busy! Outside of work, my passion is theatre. My wife and I run a group of singers and dancers called Musical Mayhem and we perform cabarets in partnership with local and national charities to raise money for wonderful causes. I also perform with local amateur groups when I can. I equally love going to the theatre and go as often as my bank balance permits! On the few occasions that I get to relax(!), nothing gives me more pleasure than good food, good wine and time with friends and family.

    I have use several firms for conveyancing during my lifetime but I rarely went back for a second time. For the past 14 I have used the services of Steven Coles and his team at Hall Smith Whittingham to represent me in a number of house sales and purchases. Unlike the other solicitor firms I've used they make the whole experience easy and stress free. The service they offer flows seamlessly, is informative, fast, efficient and faultless. I never struggle to get hold of someone should I need to speak to them and if they can't help immediately they always call you back in a timely manner, generally the same day. I would never use anyone else now. I would highly recommend you do the same.
