Excellent Service with fast sale and purchase!

We used Steve to sell our house and purchase our new family home as a part exchange with a large developer. We wanted to get the whole thing completed in 2 months, from instructing him to represent us to having the keys! Despite several hurdles along the way Steve worked hard for us and ensured we managed to get our move completed on time.
Steven (and the whole team at HSW) were open and transparent along the journey and ensured we know what was going on at each step. He was very helpful with all my naive questions and always put us at ease throughout the process. Moving house is a particularly stressful experience but using Steven as our solicitor took a massive load of stress away!
We will definitely use Steve again when moving house in the future.

Professional and Responsive

I initially became a client of Hall Smith Whittingham in 2018, with the family law department, and received excellent support and service throughout a very difficult period. I subsequently required a conveyancing solicitor and had no hesitation in appointing Michael Wright and his team at Hall Smith Whittingham.
I was looking for a relatively quick turnaround with a property transfer and Michael worked hard to achieve this successfully, whilst applying a meticulous and consistently high quality approach towards the whole conveyancing process. Michael has since dealt with the conveyancing for 2 further properties for my family, a true testament to the excellent, efficient and effective service delivered by him and his team.

House sale

Steven has been a great help to me and my family in dealing with two property sales. After providing the initial information in both cases, we had very little to do as Steven was able to manage and complete the sales with very little fuss.

Best Solicitor Ever

I have used the services of Hall Smith Whittingham on several occasions and cannot rate the service Steven and his team provide highly enough. Selling and purchasing a property is one of the most stressful and nerve racking experiences an individual encounters regardless of how many times you've done it in the past. Steven helped me with my first solo house purchase over 12 years ago and I've been back to him without hesitation over and over again . Unlike previous solicitors I have dealt with in the past Steven is on the case from the offset, always available if you need to talk over a concern or worry and if he's not available at the time of calling always contacts you back in a timely manner. He provides constant updates and if he is going to be away informs you and has a colleague briefed so you aren't left without a point of contact should you need help and assistance. Don't bother looking anywhere else, you don't need anyone else, just call Steven. Job Done!

Consisitent, excellent service

I have instructed Michael Wright at HSW on a number of occasions over the years and have recommended him to a number of friends and family members. Michael is extremely knowledgable and his team are always happy to help in a friendly and professional manner. The recent transition to an on-line portal has improved the process in a positive way - ensuring transparency throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend him to propective clients in pursuit of an outstanding service.

I am pleased by the service of HSW for legal/ conveyancing help provided in my first house purchase in the Staffs. region. Special thanks to Steven Coles for making every matter extremely clear, so that all legal sides are checked and the purchase goes through smooth. He was very flexible and charged reasonably for
additional overseas checks. And you will get the assurance throughout thr process that the solictior is on your side to ensure that all issues are identified in advance, such that the property is covered from any form of future risks. Also thanks to the entire team Sarah Trickett,Emma Spender and Marie Hilditch to name a few in sorting different aspects of the purchase process. Thank You Steven and HSW once again.
