Jeremy has extensive knowledge in Residential Property having qualified in 1992. He is committed to providing a proactive, friendly and positive approach, with nearly 30 years’ experience as a residential property specialist. Jeremy strives to communicate clearly and effectively with all those involved in transactions he deals with, in order to achieve the best outcome for his clients. He endeavours to find pragmatic solutions to problems wherever possible. Jeremy believes in building up a strong relationship with his clients in order to understand their aims and needs, and work with them to achieve these so far as possible. Memorable cases Jeremy has worked on include completing a purchase within a week from instruction where his client was given a great incentive on a new build property if he completed that quickly. In 2014, Jeremy was involved the sale of a property where a Local Authority had acquired a strip of land along the frontage in the 1960s for potential road widening. They had granted a license over the land in exchange. The road widening never took place and the scheme had been abandoned, however, the buyers’ solicitors were not happy with the license arrangement that remained in place. Jeremy drafted a conditional contract clause which gave his client 9 months to resolve the issue with the Local Authority and to pay any premium agreed out of the exchange deposit. After lengthy negotiations with the Local Authority which involved taking Counsel’s Opinion in relation to the status of the license, an agreement was reached with the Local Authority just in time to enable him to give notice to the buyers’ solicitors to complete the sale.

Amazing staff and service if buying/selling a House! (Cranleigh Branch)

Used the Cranleigh Branch and wasn't sure what to expect. The lead partners of the firm was so incredibly fastidious and hard working. We used this firm for both the sale of our old property and the purchase of our new property. The lead partner and their team were so helpful and worked as efficiently as possible as we wanted a quick as possible sale and purchase of the new property. The lead partner also helped with a related issue on Help to Buy that was completely mis-manged by a different law firm. We initially wanted to purchase one house but they took too long in looking to sell their property and the team migrated the case to another house and they started work on that straight away and was a seamless transition. Couldnt recommend them enough!

We decided to use Hart Brown after a recommendation and thank god we did. Jeremy is the consummate professional. With assistance from Stacey he help us sell and buy our homes, dealing with Help to buy and an estate management company. We didn't have to chase him once. In what turned out to be quite a stressful move due to our seller using an office block full of paralegals instead of a proper high street solicitors, Jeremy chased and pushed each step of the way sending us near daily updates. We cannot recommend Hart Brown enough. Do not be fooled into using cut price services by your estate agent. You will pay for it in stress. Use a local, rated, high street Solicitors. Thank you.

Jeremy dealt with the conveyancing for my house sale and next purchase. I found him to be very professional and efficient. He kept me informed with regular updates and answered email promptly, taking the time to explain issues I did not understand. All the staff I met in the Cranleigh office were very friendly and helpful. This process can be stressful at times, but I always felt in safe hands and have no hesitation in recommending their services. Thank you Jeremy and the whole team!

I recently entrusted the sale of my late mother's house to Jeremy Jupp at Hart Brown. As a result of multiple previous experiences, I already knew that this would be a great choice. And for the benefit of anyone less familiar, I can report that it was indeed! On the technical front, Jeremy dealt with buyer queries with prompt efficiency. The communication from Jeremy and his assistant, Stacey King, was superb throughout. Responsive, of course, but also pre-emptive. Although my interaction with Hart Brown as a whole was minimal, my experience of the general administration was positive and, on two visits, I found the reception staff to be both friendly and efficient.

Two probate matters followed by a drawn-out, challenging house sale (led by partner Jeremy Jupp). Transparent and sensible on costs, professional and highly supportive. Excellent communication skills backed up by a well organised team on the sale. Well known locally and clearly admired by our agents for their consistent service. Thoroughly nice people to work with. Highly recommended.
