Outstanding service as a first time buyer
I recently completed the purchase of my first flat and couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional service provided by Sherri York and her legal assistant, Ines Rognaldsen. From start to finish, Sherri was incredibly thorough, ensuring every detail was covered when raising enquiries on my behalf. I had LOTS of questions about the leasehold aspect of my purchase, and after reading the property report, I felt reassured that Sherri had addressed points I hadn’t even thought to question!
I was also buying during the end of the stamp duty holiday, and despite not being a priority buyer, Sherri and Ines acted quickly on my matter by requesting searches, raising enquiries and reporting on my mortgage/searches in good time.
Sherri was also adaptable to my requests such as when I wanted to wait to request searches until my mortgage was approved, and arranging for my completion funds to be sent a day early so I could complete first thing the next morning due to a last-minute work trip.
I highly recommend Sherri and her team to anyone looking for a conveyancer who is not only meticulous and professional, but also genuinely responsive to client needs. Thank you so much Sherri, I will definitely be using you again!! :)

Excellent service
I have had cause to use Machins twice recently, initially I was helped by Holly Baker and her team who I found to be extremely professional, providing a clear pricing structure and keeping me up to date with progress at every stage. As a result I used Machins again, this time with Sheree Yorke and her team and once again matters were concluded with the utmost professionalism.
Would definitely use again.

Conveyancing Drovers Way
As director of a property let company, I found the service provided my the Machins team, under sometimes quite challenging circumstances, to be excellent. Communication was concise and prompt. When required, phone conversations were had and staff were always available to answer queries arising in good time, to keep the process moving along to a positive outcome for all.

First Class Service - Residential Conveyancing
We recently completed a residential sale & purchase with Machins, and Sherri York in their Luton Office was our Conveyancer.
Before we went into this huge move, all we heard were negative comments from people saying how long the process is now taking with Solicitors, and you could never get hold of someone when you needed to speak to someone. Well, I can honestly say that this was not the narrative we experienced, and so have zero reason to complain, but many reasons to praise Machins.
So in short... Sherri, thank you, your handling of our sale and purchase has been brilliant, you and your team have done an outstanding job, and you personally have provided us with great communication via email and phone throughout the process, and have answered everything we required to ensure the matter has been dealt with professionally and quickly.
