I first came into contact with Stefan Simms when he happened to be working as the duty solicitor at Bridgwater Police Centre. I had been arrested over an unfortunate incident, having never been arrested before. The experience was extremely distressing, worrying and entirely unfamiliar. Thankfully, from the moment I met Stefan, it was clear that he was kind, patient, understanding. I felt very reassured. He helped me navigate the process with sound advice and professionalism, as well as a welcome degree of good humour. I was bailed and then subsequently charged with a minor offence. I asked if Stefan would be willing to represent me at court and gladly he agreed. I felt that his fees were very reasonable. The outcome was, through Stefan's hard work and diligence and perhaps a degree of reputation, that the case was discontinued by the CPS, subject to me paying a small amount of compensation. My greatest fear was that I would have a criminal conviction, which may have cost me my job and livelihood. Stefan understood my predicament and was able to avoid this. To say I am grateful to Stefan, would be a huge understatement. Truly, I can't thank him enough. I strongly recommend Stefan Simms.
