We were revising our Wills and setting up our Power of Attorney. We were guided through the process with everything being explained clearly and precisely, making everything simple and easy to understand. We were advised of the total cost before proceeding therefore there were no "hidden surprises" at the end of the process which is also very reassuring.

I filled in the contact form on the Seatons website and heard back from Adrian the next day. He rang and answered a couple of my key questions, then followed up with an email after our phonecall. I absolutely did not feel pressured by Adrian to use Seatons' services and he made it very clear that I was not obligated to do so, but I felt that he would be able to answer my remaining questions about dealing with an insolvent estate. When I was able, I sent relevant details and Adrian was able to book me in for a Zoom call very shortly afterwards, during which he was able to answer all of my questions and provide advice on my next steps. I elected not to utilise Seatons to complete the finalising of the estate on my behalf, as there was very little left to do, so I followed Adrian's advice to complete the next steps myself. His advice was very helpful and has guided me through the next steps in the process. After our Zoom consultation, I was invoiced and the payment process was very smooth and transparent. The costs matched what I had been quoted (I was initially quoted for two hours work but it took less time than anticipated so was only actually invoiced for one hour, which I felt was a very honest charging policy!!) and were appropriate for the work completed. Once I have completed the steps advised to me by Adrian, I intend to return to Seatons for a final check over what I've done, to make sure everything in the estate is ready to be settled. I valued the advice I was given and have found it very helpful. If I have any future need for a solicitor, I would absolutely consider returning to Seatons. I would also recommend Seatons to anybody who was in a similar situation to me (trying to settle an insolvent estate).
