Ross listened and kept on listening until he fully understood my situation. He thought his way around my difficulties so that we were able to work together in a way that allowed me to have his guidance without aggravating the situation by revealing my legal support. Ross explained his thinking and reasoning to me so that I understood the strategy. His vast experience was also helpful in keeping costs down for me as he knew of strategies that the other party would use in an attempt to push up my costs and was able to by-pass this. I felt safe. This helped my mental health as well as ensuring we made positive progress through to the conclusion. Em was always friendly and helpful. She was available when Ross wasn’t, so I could leave a message with her that I knew would be accurately and quickly passed on. I definitely saw her as part of our team.

I would highly recommend Ross as a divorce Solicitor. From the very beginning he managed to strike the perfect balance between keeping me on track emotionally and to the overall objective, whilst ensuring that I was treated fairly by my partner and their Solicitor throughout the process. Since it was my partner who had initiated the divorce, I found myself in a surreal and sometimes overwhelming situation. Ross approached this with great clarity and tact, helping me to see things clearly and guiding me toward a constructive resolution. Thanks to his approach, what could have been a contentious process instead reached a mostly amicable conclusion. One of the aspects I most appreciated was the transparency around fees. Everything was explained clearly from the outset and charges were applied exactly as discussed with no surprises, just straightforward professionalism. Overall, Ross combined expertise with empathy and assertiveness in a way that made a difficult period far more manageable. I’m grateful for his support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others blindsided by relationship breakdown and divorce proceedings.

After an initial chat with Ross Philips to gain some information I decided to pursue a case that I had been putting off for numerous of years. From the initial meeting with Ross a few years ago when he was in Calne, I found him to be compassionate, kind and very respectful. He offered an impartial advice but at the same time advising me of the pros and cons of the predicament I was in at the time, which in the end was an ongoing situation. I unfortunately had to get the situation resolved in a quick and speedy manner, Ross was there to help me through this very trying time, with sound and impartial advice in a caring and compassionate way.
