From start to finish the service with Slee Blackwell has been excellent. Emma was very good and her advice got us to a good result at the end. This firms mission statement regarding crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s and with this I totally agree with statement and I would personally recommend this firm to anyone who need results for their toil and the Justice you so rightly deserve. Communication was also excellent throughout. Thank you.

Registration of Lease

Disappointing
We had previously used Slee Blackwell for a litigious matter (Emma Slade) and we could not fault the service - from beginning to end Emma was nothing but professional and always kept us well informed on how the matter was progressing with a good outcome.
This time however we found the service to be completely different - we never met Monica in person throughout the whole process. She was on leave when the contracts/Transfer documents needed to be signed and it was arranged that we would meet with her colleague, Emma Napper but instead when we arrived we were met with the receptionist who seated us in the reception area to go through the paperwork. There was no opportunity discuss /explain the paperwork we were about to sign. The matter was due to complete and we were asked to forward funds and due to the amount we had to transfer the funds in two separate amounts - we received no acknowledgement that the funds had been received and telephoned the office to confirm receipt the next day. It was agreed that we would be responsible for the payment of the other sides fees which amounted to £672 - considerably less than yourselves bearing in mind that the documents were prepared by them. The matter proceeded to completion on 30.6.2023 (we spoke with Caroline Bulpett - who was very lovely). Finally, we received an email from Sally, Emma Napper's secretary, to confirm completion however she also sent the email to a Michelle Fuller who is no connection to us???

Civil Dispute and Conveyancing
Emma Napper assisted us with our new property build in Buckland Brewer and we couldn't recommend her enough, as she made it a smooth process for us. We then needed assistance with a Civil dispute and Zoe Harker-Smith advised us on this matter.

Brilliant Service, you couldn't ask for better!
Used Slee Blackwell Solicitors Barnstaple to assist in the completion of a Settlement Agreement with my employers. The service provided was very swift and most professional, and the solicitor obviously dealt with such matters on a regular basis. I could not possibly find fault with any aspect of the service. 24 hours from initial telephone call to case resolution. Just what is needed when time is short.

A very professional service from a great team
Emma Napper and her team have supported me and my elderly mother both in securing Lasting Power of Attorney and in property conveyancing.
