Great service

Andrew Woodland was great to deal with during our house purchase, as first time buyers it was a unfamiliar process to us, but Andrew made us feel at ease and guided through the whole procedure.

He has kept us up to date throughout the purchase, providing clear and timely responses to all of our queries. Overall a fantastic service.

Our sale and purchase were successfully completed on the date we wanted. Our conveyancing solicitor was helpful and friendly and competent. Our only concern was that we felt that we were chasing things up to maintain momentum.

Efficient transfer of Right of Way restriction cross land

I was approached by an adjacent landowner to purchase from him a Right of Way across my land to his. Something I had wanted to get removed for a few years. I needed legal representation and a gateway to Land Registry to enable this. I approached Slee Blackwell in South Molton and the process was conducted by them in my behalf with the minimum of fuss and not too much expense.

Excellent service

I recently completed the purchase of a property thanks to the efforts of Andrew Woodland at Slee Blackwell solicitors. Andrew's communication, diligence and professionalism was excellent throughout the whole process. Andrew was available whenever we needed any questions answered & came across as a very pleasant, helpful young man. He made what can sometimes be a stressful process, very smooth & uncomplicated. Would highly recommend Andrew as a conveyancing solicitor.

We have used and recommended Gemma Williams several times. Would not use anyone else. The whole company seems to pull together so if Gemma is out of the office we always feel the work carries on smoothly. Super company, friendly, calm but efficient.

Having used Gemma Williams three times now for house purchases and twice for sales, I genuinely do not believe there is anyone better in the country! Gemma kept me informed, responded to emails/phone calls quickly (minutes at times!!) and when everything started to fall apart, she stepped in to save the day.

100% recommended - Slee Blackwell provided with me not only amazing service, but offered great value as well.

About this branch

Description

Slee Blackwell Solicitors are an award winning, Legal 500 recommended practice serving clients nationwide. 2020 was our centenary year. We have come a long way in the past one hundred plus years, but we remain committed to the principles of our founder Ernest Slee to provide the highest levels of professional service. We are proud to have been awarded Lexcel accreditation, the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark for excellence in legal practice management and legal client care. Our clients therefore have the peace of mind of knowing that their legal affairs are in safe hands and that their interests are being looked after by an established, accredited law firm that is dedicated to providing a first class service. While we provide a full range of legal services, we are known nationally for our expertise in a number of niche areas of law, including inheritance disputes, medical negligence and animal law. Our work has attracted a great deal of media attention. Medical negligence Lawyer, Oliver Thorne, has for instance been celebrated for spearheading the fight for justice of hundreds of British PIP breast implant victims in the French courts, as well as campaigning for the rights of mothers and babies who have been let down by our health services. Partner James McNally (who has been shortlisted for Claimant Lawyer of the Year at the 2021 National Personal Injury Awards) has been dubbed 'The Dog Bite Solicitor' by The Guardian newspaper.
