I've been trying to get a house for over a year and the whole time, I've been incredibly stressed. We used Ellena Balshaw in the Boyes Turner Residential Conveyancing team for our house move, and she was simply brilliant. What should have been a straightforward transaction became far more challenging due to a difficult buyer who pulled out, returned, and then appointed an extremely slow firm on their side. Their admin-led approach caused repeated delays, with decisions unable to progress without solicitor sign-off, despite Ellie clearly communicating our fixed completion dates. At the same time, our sellers were keen to move quickly as they were leaving the country. Throughout the process, Ellie kept us regularly and clearly informed about where things stood, the position with both our buyer and seller, and exactly what we needed to do next. She also proactively liaised with our estate agents and other parties to keep everyone aligned, meaning we were fully prepared and ready to proceed ahead of others. I would highly recommend Ellie to anyone buying or selling a property.
