    Fantastic Advice and Support

    Throughout our EHCP application process Douglas and his team have not only been open and honest with their advice, but they have been proactive in ensuring everything was running smoothly taking some of the burden off of our shoulders during a stressful time.     Thank you Doug

    Doug has been the main reason we secured an EOTAS package for our son from a particular difficult Local Authority. His knowledge and contacts are second to none but it was the fact that he truly cared about our situation and was doing everything he could to get the right outcome that shone through. It seemed like he felt personally aggrieved at the way we were being treated by the Local Authority and wasn't going to stand for it. I would highly recommend Douglas and appreciated his straight talking, honest approach that got straight to the point. He really was all action rather than just words.

    A dedicated expert

    Doug’s been helping us for the past couple of years and has shown himself to be an absolute expert in the field of SEND tribunals, EHCP and EOTAS. He puts client value first and is highly dedicated to getting the best outcome, not to mention the formidable experts in EdPsych, SLT, OC etc and barristers that form his roster of contacts. He achieved successful outcomes for both our children. Very occasional small errors crept in, in what were very complex cases, but they were dealt with straight away. A little more clarity in billing would be good, perhaps monthly statement of outstanding amount owed would be helpful. Believe me, this is a real review, I ticked all the boxes below for Geldards because they have been fantastic to deal with, would absolutely recommend for SEND.

    I have used Doug twice with respect to my children's SEN provision and he is excellent. He is an expert in the field with a good practical knowledge of tribunal appeals and the relevant law. We have had a successful outcome each time with Doug. He also is fully versed in neurodiversity so you dont have to put too much effort into explaining (to him at least) your childs ND, or the resultant challenges your child faces (or what he needs eg in a classroom etc.) Thoroughly recommend Doug. Also can recommend good specialists to assess your child (those that stand up in tribunals, which is key) and has good contacts.
