I can’t recommend George Wilson at McAllister Law highly enough. From start to finish, he provided outstanding legal support during one of the most emotionally difficult times in my life. My divorce involved complex circumstances, including challenging behaviour from my ex-husband that led to police involvement, and some traits that made communication and negotiation particularly difficult. George navigated it all with incredible professionalism, care, and ease. Nothing phased him—he remained calm, strategic, and completely focused on achieving the best possible outcome for me and my children. What really stood out was his ability to strike the perfect balance: laser-sharp legal advice combined with a warm, down-to-earth approach. He’s genuinely enjoyable to deal with—serious and focused when it matters most, but with a great sense of humour and lightness that helped take the edge off the stress. I had no idea what to expect when I instructed George as my divorce lawyer but he has exceeded any expectations I had. He is professional, friendly, efficient and honest. I felt that no question was too silly to ask. He was extremely efficient with correspondence and at the very latest my queries were answered the next day, the same day if he was in the office. More importantly I felt that I had someone fighting my corner for the best possible outcome for my children and I. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone. You’d be in safe hands. McAlister Family Law was recommended to me for a divorce where complex pension sharing arrangements were likely to be at issue. George reassured me right from the first consultation, where he demonstrated his experience and knowledge of the matters and explained very objectively what was likely to be achievable. In what became a very long-running and frustrating case, he was honest, empathetic and extremely knowledgable. His management of correspondence with the other party’s solicitors, was nothing short of superb - professional and to the point, but also exceptionally compelling and quite probably the deciding factor in securing for me a very good outcome. I would wholeheartedly recommend George for anyone in similar circumstances.

George has been amazing as my solicitor. My case has been a protracted and extremely frustrating matter, but George has always been on hand to support me, give me sound advice and most of all, has been honest about all the issues I have faced. I was somewhat sceptical about approaching McAlister Family Law with my issue, but as another reviewer has mentioned, they were recommended to me via a Federation and so I met George for an initial consultation; I'm really pleased that I did. George is friendly, approachable & knowledgeable (and, on the rare occasion where he doesn't know the answer to a query, he'll find it). From the initial meeting right through to the resolution of my matter, George kept me updated and responded swiftly to all of my many questions/concerns, reassuring me at each stage. I'd recommend George to anyone, and he's someone who I'll definitely instruct in future should the need arise. Although I didn't have many dealings with other members of McAlister Family Law, what I can say is that George is an asset to them and will work tirelessly on behalf of his clients. If, like I did, you require the services of a Solicitor but you're unsure about whether or not to reach out - I'd recommend booking an initial consultation. You've nothing to lose.
