My team consisted of Manjit, Carol and Sheila who fought with me every step of the way, even when things were tough Manjit quickly got the issue resolved and completed on time. I was recommended Frances Lindsay & Co by a friend who had used this company for his divorce. I had previously started with a firm from Beaconsfield that were good but I felt very expensive for their services. I was recommended to see Stewart Henderson who was completing his training as a solicitor when I was introduced to him in early 2020. Stewart is now a fully qualified solicitor. As he was completing his training he needed a senior colleague to supervise his work. I was put in touch with a senior solicitor who then had to take time off during the first lockdown and another senior colleague called Manjit Bains took over. Although I did not physically meet Manjit due to the pandemic and the lockdown I had several conversations with her during the first lockdown and found her style and manner someone I could work with. As a consequence when the original senior solicitor came back to work, I specifically asked Manjit to continue working with Stewart on my case. My ex-wife had chosen a nasty, aggressive lawyer based in Windsor off St Leonard's Road near Upton Court School. He was a despicable solicitor whose every written communication was meant to provoke a negative response. Apparently he was know in Windsor and Maidenhead for his aggressive manner. His ulterior aim was to make divorce mediation fail and to make every thing go to court so he could line his own pocket. Fortunately I had Manjit and Stewart who always managed to always calm me down whenever I had a letter from this nasty solicitor. A year later my divorce is over. Divorce is one of the most painful things a person has to go through but with the right legal team this painful episode can be more bearable. As a hospital consultant I have dealt with lots of kinds of people but in my divorce I dealt with two types of solicitors. A professional, caring and compassionate team in Stewart Henderson and Manjit Bains and a completely unprofessional solicitor who was employed by my ex-wife. Dr K.R.S Further to my original review this year my ex-wife's greedy solicitor who is based on Beaumont Street in Windsor lodged an application to court because I refused to sign Spanish passport renewal papers for our children. The reason I refused to sign the papers was because they were in Spanish and I could not sign what I did not understand. Instead of asking my ex-wife to translate the papers to English he lodged papers in the family court. Only when Manjit and Stewart brought to his attention no English judge would force me to sign papers in Spanish did he get my ex-wife to formally translate the papers into English. We then signed an order the day before the court hearing that I would sign the relevant paperwork and that neither of us would seek legal costs from the other party. Even after the paperwork was lodged in court my ex-wife's unscrupulous solicitor filed papers in court asking the judge to award her legal costs. Fortunately the judge did not award any costs. The paperwork needed to be certified by a barrister and Stewart went out of his way to organise a barrister to sign the paperwork for me. So if you want honest, reliable solicitors in matrimonial affairs go and see Stewart Henderson or Manjit Bains at Frances Lindsay & Co Dr. K.R.S 27th October 2023 Two years on after the divorce my ex-wife has tried very hard to falsely report me to the police and social services to try and gain full custody of the children so I would have to pay her child maintenance which I do not do as we share equal custody of our children. Unfortunately I foolish shouted at my daughter about some school work. My ex -wife poisoned my daughter and she refused to come with me on a weekend she was supposed to be with me. I spoke to Manjit who told me to try and re-establish my relationship with my daughter. After 12 days my daughter told me she missed me and wanted to go back to spending half her time with me. I am grateful to Manjit's invaluable advice. Dr K.R.S
