I joined the Conveyancing Department of Hall Smith Whittingham in 2004 as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, and fulfilled my ambition to qualify as a Solicitor in April 2011. I have recently attained the position of Head of Department and I am looking forward to the new challenges, both personally and professionally, that this will bring. My aim on each of my cases is to work closely with clients in order to try to make the moving process as stress free as possible, by being approachable and hardworking, and as I live in Nantwich, also being able to provide valuable local knowledge. My hobbies include reading thrillers, tap-dancing, learning Spanish, walking and evenings at the theatre with my husband with whom I also like to appreciate the great food and wine in our local pubs and restaurants whenever possible!

    We recently instructed Claire Hilton in our sale and purchase. We had no idea at the time that our purchase would turn out to be so complex however, Claire went above and beyond to ensure that at all times we were kept informed of how the matter was progressing as well as working hard to make sure that all the legal problems were resolved prior to our ownership. As the purchase took over six months (through absolutely no fault of Hall Smith Whittingham), Steven, Michael and Hayley also all worked on our file and continued to push for a completion date despite having their own busy caseloads. We would certainly recommend Claire and her colleagues!
