Poor service and communication
We are very disappointed with the service provided by HGW after we instructed them to handle our late father's probate. After almost two years, it was apparent they had made little progress. Despite this, they warned that the final cost could be significantly more expensive than quoted without providing any justification. When we complained about the lack of progress, communication and escalating costs, they were dismissive and suggested that everything was in keeping with normal practices. We had no confidence in their ability to complete the probate and have since dismissed them. Overall, we felt they did not provide a competent service, were poor at communicating with us and represented poor value for money.
