Disaster!
This is a genuine warning for all those who are thinking about retaining Mullis & Peake. I retained Mullis & Peake after my mother's passing in November 2021. Manzurul Islam, Head of probate department, took twelve months to file the application for grant of probate. He said he had to send it by post but didn't understand why. He took a further six months to call Probate UK to see if the mail had arrived, only to find out, it hadn't Nineteen months after my mother passed with a full will and all assets in cash, we are no closer to grant of probate! Manzurul Islam is not telling lies to cover up his mistakes. Don't worry, he doesn't dare take me to court for slander because he knows the evidence against him id overwhelming. Once again, do not retain Mullis & Peake!

Unfortunately, HMRC and the Probate Registry are experiencing delays; high demand has caused waiting times for the Probate Registry to have been increased to 16 weeks.
