Chris and his team were very professional, easy to talk to, and always there for us. We had used a different solicitor when buying our first house, and working with Chris was a completely different experience. We feel very lucky to have found him after our first experience. Chris was always on top of everything, kept us updated at every step, and regularly checked in to let us know what he was doing and how things were going. He explained everything in a way that I could easily understand, which gave me confidence throughout the process. That made such a difference, because I never felt left alone with the stress of it all. The whole process from start to finish only took two and a half months! When we faced disagreements with the seller, Chris stepped in straight away. He gave us clear legal advice on the best way to proceed and even took the time to reassure us so we didn’t let frustration or anger get in the way and risk losing the sale. That level of support was invaluable. Along the way, I also had other legal issues come up, and I was really happy that I could reach out to other teams within Nelsons to get them resolved quickly. It made me feel like I was in very good hands and that the firm as a whole had my back. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone needing a solicitor. He is knowledgeable, quick at responding, efficient, and most importantly, he genuinely cared about us as clients. Buying a house can be stressful, but Chris and his team made it feel smooth and manageable.
