Kathy began her legal career in 2010 where she worked for a local firm as a Conveyancing Assistant and commenced her Training Contract in 2013. After qualifying as a Solicitor in 2015, Kathy continued in Conveyancing, with a focus on Equity Release, before joining Dunn & Baker Solicitors as a Solicitor in the Residential Property Department in May 2023. Prior to her career in law, Kathy obtained a degree in Mathematics from Exeter University in 2008. In 2009, she obtained her Graduate Diploma in Law and went on to complete her Legal Practice Course in Law in 2010, both from the University of Plymouth. Kathy qualified as a solicitor in March 2015. Kathy believes that providing clear and easy-to-understand advice to clients is vital during any transaction. With an empathetic nature, Kathy always tries to accommodate any requirements her clients have and is happy to use the communication method that her clients feel most comfortable with. Kathy specialises in residential sales, purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity and land transfers, for both freehold and leasehold properties.

    Highly recommended

    If you are buying or selling a property then we can’t recommend Kathy Cracknell highly enough. We sold both our houses last year to buy a home together and then also had to sell a relative’s property via power of attorney. Kathy was fabulous and as well as being highly efficient and prompt, also very personable and approachable and very responsive with regards to our questions and queries . One of the sales was not straight forward and fell through several times but Kathy was very supportive and understanding regarding our ever increasing stress levels. Thank you Kathy for a great service.
