Alex studied Geography at the University of Leicester and graduated with a First Class Honours degree before embarking on a career in HR for a national transport organisation. This sparked her passion for employment law and gave her a unique insight into the role of trade unions and how they support workers on a wide variety of issues. She therefore set about becoming an employment lawyer, obtaining Distinctions in both her GDL and LPC at the College of Law, York and then training with a top firm in Leeds, qualifying in 2017, before we poached her to join P&B’s employment team in early 2018. Creative, smart and client focussed, Alex regularly obtains great results for her clients and has a comprehensive knowledge of employment law and litigation. Alex has a particular interest in discrimination (particularly disability and maternity/pregnancy), equal pay and flexible working. She also regularly acts for clients in unfair dismissal, redundancy, whistleblowing, and holiday pay claims. When not at the office, Alex is kept busy with her young daughter and is happiest with a hot cup of coffee.

Foxall vs Modus Recycling

I found Pattinson & Brewer to be excellent in all aspects during my unfair dismissal claim against my former employer, absolute pleasure to deal with such good, honest hardworking and trustworthy people, the amount of great legal knowledge and wisdom they process was key to our success, no man is an Island, and justice was awarded due to the tenacious team effort and wonderful solicitors at Pattinson & Brewer and I always felt they were fully invested in my case, they repeatedly went above and beyond and somehow managed to exceed my expectations when it came to my compensation award,I felt my opinions were listened to, and just beautifully articulated on the day to help get my point across to the judge, ( I could never have done that alone ) win or lose I was 100% satisfied that I had made the sensible choice in Pattinson and Brewer, would highly recommend these guys if you are seeking honest, straightforward legal advice, it's 1st class service.
