We are very grateful that Smart Legal were recommended to us by our estate agent for a house purchase. There were only 5 weeks left until the stamp duty rates increased and every other firm said it would be impossible to meet the deadline. Smart Legal told us it was possible and that they would do everything they could to make it happen, although not guaranteed understandably.
Our solicitor was Ms Rahima Begum who worked tirelessly to get the completion done by the stamp duty deadline, despite several complicated aspects in our case, and she succeeded. She left no stone unturned and dealt with every search and enquiry meticulously.
Every step of the way we were updated on the progress. Rahima was always available to answer queries quickly and efficiently and was very knowledgeable. She was also very friendly and went above and beyond to make it happen.
We are very grateful to Rahima and the team at Smart Legal and will certainly instruct them for all future conveyancing.

Review of Smart Legal
I recently used Smart Legal for a property purchase and I cannot rate them highly enough. My solicitors were amazing and provided me with regular updates throughout the whole process.
Rahima went above and beyond to ensure that my purchase went through successfully. She kept me informed throughout what was a very stressful process and helped to take some of that stress away which I greatly appreciate. She followed up diligently and proactively with the lender in particular to ensure that everything was on track for exchange and completion. Her resilience and determination was demonstrated as this was not easy due to the lenders processes. Also huge thanks to Mahinan and Appan as well for all their support.
I would not hesitate to recommend Smart Legal and will definitely use their services again in the future. They were fair, honest, transparent and exceptionally good at what they do which came across in my dealings with them and they were easy to work.

Very happy experience
Rahima made the sale and purchase of my homes speedy and clear. Rahima was always at the end of the phone or straight back with an email. Her communication was excellent and clear. Would recommend her highly.
