Leasehold Flat purchase

I worked with Aisha from Smart Legal for two purchase attempts, the first where I withdrew from the process myself, and the second search which I completed as a first time buyer. During this time Aisha was exceptionally thorough and consistent, and always made herself available to support me with any queries or guidance. Buying my first home

My conveyancer Stephan Peiris conducted a professional service enabling me to purchase my property. It was my first time buying so difficult to compare to others, from my experience Stephan was very competent and able to see the purchase through to completion as promised. If and when I got a little anxious he assured me that completion would be achieved by my desired date and he did just that. Thank you Stephan.

I recently used Smart Legal for a property purchase and I cannot rate them highly enough. My solicitors were amazing and provided me with regular updates throughout the whole process.

Rahima went above and beyond to ensure that my purchase went through successfully. She kept me informed throughout what was a very stressful process and helped to take some of that stress away which I greatly appreciate. She followed up diligently and proactively with the lender in particular to ensure that everything was on track for exchange and completion. Her resilience and determination was demonstrated as this was not easy due to the lenders processes. Also huge thanks to Mahinan and Appan as well for all their support.

I would not hesitate to recommend Smart Legal and will definitely use their services again in the future. They were fair, honest, transparent and exceptionally good at what they do which came across in my dealings with them and they were easy to work.

We have recently used Smart Legal to sell our flat and purchase our new home. We were really impressed with the communication and updates, which we didn't get from the other solicitors involved, so felt assured on that front.
Our original quote did increase on the sale side due to a lot more documents being needed but this could have been because it was leasehold.

Overall we had a smooth process with them and was happy!

This was our second time using this firm and the whole experience was just as brilliant as the first time!

Samed handed our transaction and was nothing short of exemplary in conduct, availability, knowledge and professionalism! He hand held us through the entire process and was always available whenever we had a query. He was constantly on the ball and on top of all enquiries with the other side and kept us reassured and informed throughout the whole conveyance- which was once again completed in lightning time.

This is an excellent firm and the quote was very competitive- as low as the unknown firms (which we felt were too risky for us to go with) and the IT systems and processes meant that we didn’t even need to visit the offices - everything was handled online and through the post.

I have recommended Smart Legal to all my family and friends and you can’t get a more glowing appraisal than that - would definitely use again.
