Smart Legal is a very good firm if you are buying your house. They were with us during all the process, giving regular updates, and explaining next steps. They are very efficient. We would use their service again.

Smart Legal were recommended to me by my broker and what a recommendation it was. Mahinan and his assistant, Anu, were astoundingly efficient, kept me informed throughout and preempted potential issue’s arising. My conveyance was more complex than usual with an unexpected lease extension and a tight deadline. Impressively, Mahinan managed to complete the process in 4 weeks. Fees were transparent and fair. Smart Legal were also just really lovely people to deal with, which makes a significant difference. I highly recommend them and will be a returning client on another transaction shortly.

There were some mistakes as initially a junior new employee was handling my case but the case soon became very complicated and I requested someone more senior to handle the case. Mahinan stepped in (the top man) and I have to say I feel lucky and previlaged to have had such an expert looking after my case. It took more than a dozen attempts to try to get the buyer of my house to complete but Mahinan preservered and got me over the finish line.
