Impressive turnaround and support, with some caveats
I had the pleasure of working with Aisha, who was incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, and helped me reach completion in just six weeks! She was highly responsive throughout the process, consistently on top of everything, and meticulous with all the documentation and finer details.
That said, a couple of things to note:
- There were several unexpected costs that arose during the process, which led to higher legal fees than I was initially quoted.
- While the team operated with great efficiency and a well-defined process, there was limited flexibility in adapting to the unique aspects of my situation.

Fast and straightforward service on a tight deadline
Contacted them a couple of months before closing was due and asked for a speedy service. They did not disappoint, all matters were dealt with promptly and the purchase was completed on time as requested.

Responsive and helpful
Smart Legal were the first solicitors I've dealt with where it feels like you're actually dealing with a human who cares. They're really responsive and helpful. They made my part of the process a breeze.
A far cry from many others who will reply to messages weeks late answering only half your questions.

Leasehold Flat purchase
I worked with Aisha from Smart Legal for two purchase attempts, the first where I withdrew from the process myself, and the second search which I completed as a first time buyer. Excellent Solicitors - Highly Recommend
Given past poor experience with solicitors, I spent more time this time round reading reviews/feedback.
The reviews for Smart Legal we're overall positive and I decided to proceed.
