Kim is the Head of Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence. Kim has over 24 years of pre and post qualification experience in Injury Law, starting her career as a paralegal in personal injury, before developing as a specialist claimant clinical negligence solicitor. Kim represents injured claimants in most areas of clinical negligence and helps to navigate her clients through the complexities and processes of clinical claims, through to successful conclusion and is an advocate for open dialogue and mediation. Litigation in the High Court is occasionally inevitable but a last resort. Kim has previously been referred to as a Rising Star and a tenacious litigator in Legal 500 and clients recognise, and appreciate, the hard work, no nonsense and direct approach taken to the cases, but with an empathetic and mindful approach to the client’s objectives and needs. Kim has featured on Times Radio, to discuss the issues in the maternity services across the UK. She has also featured on BBC Essex. Kim provides talks to care organisations, hospices, schools and various organisations on clinical negligence matters and legal issues. Kim was shortlisted for Lawyer of the Year in the Modern Law Awards in 2023. Kim is heavily involved in the Compassionate Communities Network and received the Lawrence Walker Colchester Legend Award 2024 for recognition of the care, support, guidance and assistance provided to the local community. Kim is an APIL member, UKABIF member and a Dementia Friend. Away from the office Kim can be found playing or watching tennis, amongst other sports, and watching live music. She is often found supporting her local community and regularly fundraises for various charities, with recent activities including a Snowdon climb, the Everest Challenge, Swimathon and running the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
