Sophie has worked in conveyancing since 2012 and joined the Residential Department at Wolferstans in 2015. Sophie acts in all aspects of residential property transactions including residential sales and purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages. Over the last decade, Sophie has gained invaluable knowledge and experience whilst progressing from a paralegal to now running her own caseload where she enjoys assisting first time buyers and experienced home owners through the process. In her spare time, Sophie enjoys heading to the beach and exploring new places with her husband and two young children

    House sale and purchase

    It has been almost 30 years since we have been involved in a house sale and purchase. So much has changed but the one thing that has stayed the same is just how stressful it can be. We were so grateful for the amazing service Sophie P and Jane T gave us. I honestly think l would have given up but for their professional calm approach. They were thorough and efficient whilst at the same time being incredibly reassuring.

    Conveyancing process

    Our experience of selling and buying a house has been stressful. Throughout the process, we had to deal with an agent who was less than truthful, a mortgage lender with painfully poor processes, and solicitors from other parties who added little value. In contrast, Sophie and Suzie at Wolferstans were exceptional—efficient, knowledgeable, and consistently professional. Their communication was outstanding, and they were always available, with excellent support in their absence. We wouldn’t use anyone else in the future and wholeheartedly recommend Wolferstans to everyone.

    Excellent efficient service from Suzanne and Sophie in the conveyancing department. We live some distance from Plymouth but this didn't impede the selling of my property and then buying of another in the slightest. Thank you for explaining the different stages clearly and copying us in so that we were very much part of the process. Would thoroughly recommend Wolferstans.

    My husband and I have used Wolferstans for the past 10 years to buy and sell houses, using various conveyancing solicitors within Wolferstans. We always have a very good experience, find them to be very professional and attentive. The best dealings we have had to date is with Suzanne Broughton, she is brilliant. Suzanne is never too busy to discuss any matter, always happy to help. Its always lovely dealing with Suzanne, however on a few occasions we deal with Sophie and Katie who assist Suzanne, they are also very polite and knowledgable. Would highly recommend this company and Suzanne Broughton.
