If you find yourself in a situation where you need legal advice, support and you are emotionally drowning in a conflict that is just escalating and want to deal with honest and reliable individuals - I strongly recommend Clifton & Ingram. It’s worth every single penny. You won’t believe how supportive a legal team can be. They empower you, with their extensive knowledge of the law and many years of experience. I entered court exactly one year ago. I was patrefied. I was never promised victory by my legal team, but I was promised 100% support in getting through the next four days in court. And I got it ! I was fighting for my son. Nothing, or none meant more to me. I felt broken from a conflict that had lasted for years. We had tried to avoid court for months. I had been worn of the financial burden and how mentally difficult court would be. But I had no choice in the end. I was loosing my son. My solicitor at Clifton and Ingram fought so hard for me. My case felt as important to her as it was to me. Court was harder then I thought and more emotionally draining then I could possibly have imagine. My legal team were by my side every single step of the way. Not just my solicitor, but every single person I interacted with at Clifton and Ingram. It felt like everybody just wanted to help me, in any way they could. Legal fees have to be paid, but the process has been done in a very supportive way by Clifton & Ingram. My barrister told me one thing before the hearing started - don’t cry. I foolishly said I wouldn’t. After 10min on the stand I was in floods of tears. I looked at my solicitor who gave me a look of not sympathy, but of strength. I stoped crying and carried on. I had so much support from my legal team at Clifton and Ingram. This kind of “human support” is unusually in the world of solicitors. My solister went through a tremendous loss in her private life in the middle of the case and she still managed to keep me supported by her team and ultimately carrying on with my case herself. I won. But not on my own. I couldn’t have done it without Anne Deller and Lizzi and The Clifton and Ingram team. I will forever be greatful for everything they did. Especially Anne. She gave me a shoulder to cry on, but also told me “to put my big pants on” when it was needed. My legal bill was high. But it didn’t come as a shock to me. I had been informed since the beginning what the costs could be in fighting my case, especially if it would go to court. It has been the best money I have ever spent. The support and advice that was provided to me was well worth the money. My father didn’t live to experience my victory. But he did leave a message; If you win Idha, take your legal team out for dinner ! And if you loose, take your legal team out for dinner and thank team for all their hard work ! They have worked so hard for you, especially Anne. From my dad in heaven and from the bottom of my heart - thank you so much to everybody at Clifton and Ingram who got involved in my case. My son is thriving and has no idea of how hard I fought for him. Or how much my family had to scarify to enable me to fight for my right as his mother. He just wakes up happy and goes to school, and tells me everyday that he loves me.

In divorce mediation with my (now ex-) wife we had arrived at a tentative agreement and the mediator strongly advised us both to get legal advice on our proposed settlement. My new partner's divorce solicitors (Family First of Oxford) suggested Clifton Ingram and I took legal advice from Rashi Dawson at this company in a zoom session. I found Ms Dawson likeable and professional, and she helped me understand some of the issues I was unclear about. She followed up with a letter summarising our discussion and her advice. I think the session was 2 hours and the price for the work was very reasonable (by the standards of lawyers' rates!). I would recommend them.

Rashi Dawson was recommended to me when I was stuck in the midst of court proceedings. By the time Rashi consulted with me, I was already exhausted from the endless nonsense I had to deal with to settle with the other party. Rashi always guided me through my options, bearing time sensitivity in mind and protecting my mental health. She also always informed me of the incurred costs to make sure that I was comfortable and had financial control. If you are going through family proceedings, such as divorce, I am sorry and strongly recommend reaching out to Rashi for advice. She isn't the cheapest professional out there, but it is worth it.
