Bethany was born and raised in Middlesbrough and has always had a commitment to developing her law career locally. She started her journey studying law at Macmillan Sixth Form College and Teesside University thereafter to study her LLB (Hons) in 2014, completing her degree in 2017 with an accreditation of 2:1. She went on to Northumbria University to study her Legal Practice Course with Masters. She started her training contract at a Freers Askew Bunting to put her academic training into practice and start her qualifying process as a Solicitor. Whilst undertaking her training contract she completed seats in Family Law, Conveyancing, and Private Client. Bethany was able to develop her skills in both contentious and non-contentious areas of law. Upon qualification in January 2021, she qualified in Private Client. Bethany is dedicated to helping local people to ensure their plans for the future are successfully put into place. She also prides herself on being able to make people feel at ease by being supportive at what can be a difficult time when losing a loved one. Bethany can advise and assist with a wide range of legal matters, including the formation, administration, and termination of trusts; drafting bespoke Wills tailored to individual circumstances; creating, revoking, or registering Powers of Attorney with the Office of the Public Guardian; applying for Probate and Letters of Administration; and providing comprehensive support with estate administration and future estate planning.
