Trainee Solicitor at Palmers Law Ltd

Jazmyn Smith

Trainee Solicitor

Jazmyn is a trainee solicitor on the commercial property team. She supports the team with administration and bill raising and is often clients’ first point of contact. Jazmyn is also being introduced to more complex matters in a paralegal capacity, taking on a dual role of providing both administrative and legal support to fee earners. She has a strong background in Lease Extensions, Collective Enfranchisements, Right to Manage Claims, and Landlord and Tenant Disputes. Her organisational skills and excellent time management are valuable when meeting tight completion deadlines or submitting documents to the Land Registry and HMRC. Jazmyn has a problem-solving mindset and enjoys researching to help the team overcome challenges. With a genuine passion for learning, she embraces new tasks with an open mind and is eager to continue building her legal knowledge and expertise as part of her goal to become a solicitor. In the short time she’s been with the team, Jazmyn has already learned a great deal and values the supportive environment and friendly colleagues that have helped her grow. Jazmyn was promoted to a trainee solicitor in July 2025. Outside of work, Jazmyn is pursuing her interest in computing coding, having already earned her basic award in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. She likes to travel and is currently learning Japanese and German. Jazmyn has also spent the last two years training in pole fitness and enjoys playing video games and reading in her spare time.
